The Rosy-striped Knot-horn (Tiriltungesmalmott) Oncocera semirubella is a NT (near-threatened) red-listed species in Norway with under 100 observations totally. In Vestfold, it was only known earlier from one locality, so it was of great interest when several were found at a new locality in Horten during July 2022. On 16th July 2022 one was coincidently found and photographed during my visit to this locality although this had not been intentionally looked for, I had been told about an observation the day before. In fact at the time I was not sure of what it was although sort of guessed at its identification. On 19th July came a report of more individuals being found, so on 20th July 2022 a new visit was made with the intention of surveying the locality to ascertain the exact number that were present. Altogether 9 different individuals were found and each specifically photographed with geolocation recorded on each image of each individuals position making it possible to determine the exact number present. During subsequent visits to the locality none were found although specifically looked for. The following images are each of the different Rosy-striped Knot-horn individuals photographed during my visits.
